Greasing the wheels on the dome rotation

Good idea, great idea, or bad idea? My wheels squeak and this is on the todo list.

I have teflon spray (interesting)

I've got white lithium grease too.

Thoughts?

ps. I currently have one spot my dome eventually seems to pop its wheels out of, I'm going to try using teh scuplting epoxy to keep it in its track. One concern I have is will this make this less a problem or more. I tend to think greasing the track will reduce popout events and help the dome stay evened out.

You are correct. The grease will help reduce or eliminate the pop outs. I had similar problems and applied Super Lube a Teflon based lubricant. The squeaks went away and no more pop outs and I have yet to fill the gaps.

I sprayed the whole underside of the dome track with the teflon spray, then I greased the wheel that always pops out with the lithum grease. It hasn't popped out since, though I wouldn't doubt it can. I do still need to do the molding clay, the big rocking is always on the shutter front or rear seams, they are too rounded off.
