I'm currently using Voyager for integration and have experienced a problem with shutter opening. Perhaps other Voyager users have solved this problem. I have a "drag script" that connects all the equipment including the NexDome (which works just fine) and then gives the command to open the shutter. This command fails, I'm guessing due to the fact that the rotator has not yet established contact with the shutter. If you wait for quite some time, the voyager "open shutter" command does work, so it's obvious Voyager knows how to open the shutter, it's just not coping with the connection to the shutter not being in place when the ASCOM connection to the dome is made.
Does anyone have a neat solution to this that doesn't involve including a big delay between connection to the dome and attempts to control the shutter? Maybe that is the only way? There is an option in the dome config to cause a wait (for the shutter connection I thought", but this didn't work.
