I'm installing a beaver controller and nexdome forgot to put the rj11 for the rainsensor on it. I still have my old one so I just need a kind soul to take the cover off their beaver - you don't even have to unplug it and take a picture. I need to know where the rj11's 3 wires go.
Mine has the following colors:
red = 12v
white == ?
green == gnd
@Steven Green if you have a moment, would highly appreciate - it's maintenance night/day so If I don't get it done now I won't be able to for another few weeks.
Mr. Green: I'm hooking up a Hydreon RG-9 rain sensor. I assuming that the 3 wires are the only wires going to the sensor from the control board for tripping the shutter. Are there any other wires to hook up?
hi @Steven Green yes - that was exactly what I needed - I was able to wire up my rain sensor and a jerry rigged home sensor - they work. I did have to flip green and white though - I'm not sure if it's different on the new beavers but white was rg11 output from the original working wiring.
I also pinged lunatico for some advise as my button was going in the wrong direction again... I flipped the ccw and cw inputs on that and now the button indicates the direction of travel more directly + aligns with the shutter's button direction + movement direction.
Jason, hope this isn't too late.
Here are two shots that I believe are what you need.
