Hi.
I have just loaded the new 4.0.0 versions into the rotator and the shutter, however there is a bug that causes the manual rotation control (ie the rocker switch) to stop working after a period of time. I suspect this coincides with when the new hold feature stops holding. The dome can still be rotated with an ASCOM command, and in fact once the dome is rotated a tiny amount, the manual control starts working again. In regards to the new hold feature, it makes an irritating sound, and I've never noticed a problem with the dome rotating when it shouldn't either. Can we have a feature to disable this please.
Cheers
Steve
Hi Pete. If you have the same problem as me, if after some time the manual control stops working, you should find if you move it a tiny bit with ASCOM, the motor will start humming again and the manual control will work again. Cycling the power also works.

I might be able to comfirm this is happening too. I was out in the observatory yesterday to check out the rotator gear. The previous night the dome rotated with the shutter closed and the shutter hanging charging tails got into the rotator gear mesh so I had to stop the rotation. Anyway, yesterday I went out to check to make the everything was ok and wanted to manually rotate the dome via the button. Except it did not rotate when I first pressed it. I thought maybe the mishap last night caused an issue with the motor driver circuit. So I power cycled the rotator and every worked. So long story short, 99% of time I use ASCOM, but yesterday the manual button did not work and I am on the latest 4.0.0 release.
