So, my shutter opens part way, then sits in place and jumps teeth in the track. I have to push it upward with a lot of pressure to get it past this point, maybe about a 2 foot further up. Then once past this section, it will open the rest of the way on it's own. NexDome support hasn't assisted with any suggestion yet:
Same with Dome Rotation, it get's to a cert point, then just jitters back and forth at a few spots, if I disengage the direction button, and press the same direction button it will continue on it's own normally. NexDome support says my walls are not in a perfect circle, cut they are at least at the base. If they are not at the top, I'd have no clue how to solve as there is not supports or anchoring available at the top of the wall.
On the rotation : you need to back out the motor/gear assembly a bit away from the dome.. too much pressure results in extra force applied to the motor and it skips.
On the shutter, there is a small tab between the shutter assembly back plate and the track with a hex nut in there that can be adjusted to apply more pressure to the back of the track to make it stay in contact with the gear, so you need to tighten that.
