Am I right to assume that these are Bluetooth devices and there are no wires connecting them to a PC? I know there is a USB connection on the front of the dome motor so I can assume that I connect that one to my PC. However, how does the shutter motor connect? I thought it’s microUSB connection was for firmware updates.

I have installed the motors for dome rotation and shutter control, but I don't know how to connect them to the PC.

The dome motor connects to your computer.
The dome motor controller talks to the shutter controller using in integrated wireless device (not BlueTooth or WiFi).
So you only need one USB connection from your computer to the dome motor controller.
